Myrtle Oliva Drahos' Obituary
Edward Vasconi was born February 6, 1928 to Richard and Nora Vasconi in Sharon, PA. Ed passed away in Tacoma, WA at home surrounded by family. He was predeceased by his parents, brother Howard Vasconi, sister Doris Jergler and beloved cat Â"ChingÂ". Ed is survived by his loving wife Rosemary (Quinn) who he met and married in 1950 in Gig Harbor, WA after coming from CA on a fishing boat. To this union two daughters, Nora Lyn (Steve) and Lisa Ayn, three grandchildren Michael, Kevin and Shawnica and two great granddaughters. Special nephew Raymond (Rusty) and numerous other nieces and nephews and sister Jean (John) Smith of Ohio. Ed spent his lifetime working in the construction field. He was a lifetime member of the Bricklayers and Operating Engineers Unions. A special thanks to Dr. Peter Marsh for his special care and Dr. A. Mihali who was with Ed 27 years ago when he began his long health battle and saw him through his final days. At EdwardÂ's request there will be a private family service. A donation in his name to the Franciscan Hospice at St. JosephÂ's would be appreciated.
