Greetings to the Whitney Family: We read the obituary this morning with great emotion. As an Air Force retired couple of 50 years marriage (LtCol & bride) we can appreciate the wonderful life that your Mother lived. She did so much for all of you, the Air Force, her country, and for all the others whom she touched during her life. She clearly exuded love and dedication in her long and fruitful life. We send our heartfelt condolences. Although we never met Col. & Mrs. Whitney, we feel like we did thru that wonderfully written and heartfelt obituary by Jane. --Chuck & Shirley Wilkinson##imported-begin##Charles T. I'm greatly relieved you succeeded in writing your tribute to your mother. I know it took great effort and strength to finish. And, I suppose you feel you can never fully describe your mother. But, simply by producing such a paean, all who read it know that only a great being could inspire this tribute. So, you can rest...and go on.##imported-begin##Marilyn Martinetto##imported-end##
