Murray Coleman's Obituary
Murray "Mr. C" Coleman, Jr. Passed away peacefully on April 2, 2009. Waiting to welcome him to his new home are his parents and two brothers. Murray was born on August 19, 1932 in Nacogdoches, Texas. He joined the Army and spent most of his military career at Fort Lewis, WA. After retiring he decided to make Tacoma home. He also retired from the Puyallup School District, where he served as Operations Supervisor. Murray was a member of the Golden Eagle Social Club, TREA #74, and Egyptian Lodge #44. He is survived by his wife of 35 years Ardangia "Mrs. C" Coleman, sons Dale (Lynette), Murray R, Terrance (Becky), Lawrence, and Darrin; stepson Delwyn R. Blanchard; daughters Janice (Christopher), Velma, and Sheila; brothers John Garrett (Mary), Charles Ray Garrett (Jinny), Odell Garrett (Dellah), O'Neal Garrett (Polly); sisters Bettye Brown and Julia Nell (Harvest) Robertson and a host of other relatives and friends. Viewing will be from 1:00-9:00 PM on Thursday, April 9th at Mountain View Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on April 10th in the Valley Chapel, Mountain View Funeral Home.
