Muriel Nelson's Obituary
Muriel Nelson born 1920 in Rain Hill, England, passed away February 22, 2006 in Tacoma, WA. She immigrated to Aberdeen, WA at age one with her family, James and Florence Young and brothers Ernest and James. She graduated from Weatherwax High School in Aberdeen, 1940. In 1948, Lloyd and Muriel were married and raised their children in Port Angeles, moving to Tacoma in 1967. She was a longtime member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Tacoma. Muriel served actively in Altar Guild and E. C. W. in both Port Angeles and Tacoma. Muriel had the gift of looking for the best in others and gave the best she had. Muriel positively influenced family, friends and all who knew her. She is dearly loved and will be missed.She was preceded in death by her two sons Ronald and Kenneth.She is survived by Lloyd, her daughter Lynn Bourcier (George), daughter-in-law Kathryn Nelson, and five grandchildren: Emily and Tyler Bourcier and Geoff, Colin, and Trevor Nelson.Memorial service: 1:00 P. M., Saturday, February 25th, St. Andrews Episcopal Church, Tacoma, corner of 12th and Jackson. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to St. Andrews Episcopal Church.MurielÂ's philosophy was Â"be kind to allÂ". Viewing: from 4:00 P. M. to 9:00 P. M., Friday, and from 10:00 A. M. to 9:00 P. M., Saturday, at Mountain View Funeral Home.
