Muriel Agnes Berg's Obituary
Muriel was born Aug. 7, 1926 in Vancouver, B.C., Canada. She married and moved to Tacoma, in 1946. She worked as a full time mom until her and her mother-in-law, Bea Riche, opened a baby shop named Storkville. When Storkville closed she became a sales person for NordstromÂ's at the Tacoma Mall. She was quick with a smile and loved by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her first husband, George R. Riche (1925-1974). She married Glen C. Berg in 1975 and celebrated 28 years of marriage on April 3rd. She is survived by her husband, Glen; sister, Betty Jones (Albert); son, Chuck Riche (Dottie Mayo); daughter, Gail M. Romer (Pete); stepson, Ken Berg (Marilyn); stepdaughter, Gloria Burkette; grandchildren, Petra Romer, Justin and Chrystal Berg; and great-granddaughter, Eva Stanley. Services to be held on Saturday, May 24, 2003 at 4pm in the Mt. View Garden Chapel; reception to follow immediately. In lieu of flowers the family wishes all donations go to the Franciscan Hospice, 3901 S. Fife St., Tacoma, WA 98408.
