I'm so glad that I got to know Willie. He was such a gentleman. He had a serious side, a humorous side, a polite side, and a furious side. I saw all sides! He was a character.
I know that you have fond memories of the man you knew as dad, grandfather and friend. Cling to those memories.

My condolences go out to Willie's family. I was lucky and honored to have been able to meet Willie and actually ride with him on a motorcycle jaunt last year. I've laughed so much and had some a relaxing time on a motorcycle ride. Being the newbie rider that I still am, he made me feel at ease. He had me cracking up at stop lights - why? Because he was doing a little dance, rocking out on his BMW.
