Rev. Monty J. Clark
Rev. Monty J. Clark B.A.Ed., M.B.S., D.D. Age 86, succumbed to aspiration pneumonia at Tacoma General Hospital on August 27, 2011. Saw active Naval duty in the Philippines in WWII, had extensive careers in carpentry and construction, professional counseling and Christian ministries. Was WA State Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor and Administrator, Head Usher for Life Center Assemblies of God, and professor at Covenant Bible Seminary. Predeceased by brothers Lewis, Harold, Wayne, sister Eleanor and great grandson John Gordon Walker; he is survived by his wife Mary Lee (Bagley), sons James (Yoko), Gregory (Patti), Jeffery, Gary (Julie), John (Tari) and Deborah A. Clark; brothers Neal, Russell (Ruth) Clark, and John (Nathel) Clarke, plus numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was an active member of Grace Place church at 3801 So. Union, Tacoma, WA, where services will be conducted by Pastor Danny Thomas on Friday, September 2nd, at 2:00PM, with reception following. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home.
