Monico Cunanan's Obituary
Mike was born May 4, 1925 in the Philippines and passed away September 5, 2002 in Tacoma, Washington. He was a devoted Catholic and an active member of the Knights of Columbus at Our Lady of Queen of Heaven Church in Spanaway. He enjoys his friends from the Filipino community in Tacoma. Mike was a survivor of World War II.He leaves behind his loving wife of 50 years Virginia, son Nard (Baby), daughters Evelyn (Ricky), Mila, Oyet (Mer), Mercy (Jhun), and son Jonjon (Luvie); grandchildren Olive, Irene, Imee, Eloisa, Carina, Allen, Michelle, Gail, Karen, Riyet, Jen-Jen, Nico, and Jazmine. He also leaves behind his sisters Puring, Gregoria, and brother Antonio. He was also loved and adored by his numerous nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his family and friends. Viewing will be at Mountain View Funeral Home from 12 Noon until 8:30 P.M. on Friday, September 13, 2002. Mass and Memorial Service will be held at 11 A.M., September 14, 2002 at Our Lady of Queen of Heaven Church at 14601, A Street, in Spanaway. Reception after the Memorial Service will follow at the church hall. No Graveyard ceremonies are planned.
