Monica Gonza Pancho's Obituary
Monica Gonza Pancho was born October 28, 1936 and quietly passed away, surrounded by family and friends, on May 2, 2017 at the age of 80 years. Born and raised in the province of Arbor, Boljoon, Cebu, Philippines, Monica was the middle child of 11 children born to Sabina Tanilon and Florentino Gonza. Monica moved to Manila, Philippines where she met and married Bonifacio Orjalesa Pancho Jr. On April 22, 1955. They immigrated to Lakeview, Washington on June 22, 1966 where they raised their 7 children. Monica Pancho is survived by her husband, Bonifacio O. Pancho Jr.; their 7 children: Bonifacio G. Pancho III, Thelma G. McCaskell, Juanita G. Fox, Virginia G. Pancho, Dana G. Wiggs, Raymundo G. Pancho, Peter G. Pancho; 21 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. “Nanay,” “Lola,” “Moning,” is loved and will be greatly missed.
A public visitation will be held on Wednesday, 10 May from 10AM to 5PM at Mountain View Funeral Home in Lakewood, WA. This will be followed by a Memorial Service and Rosary at 7PM.
On 11 May, a Rosary will be held at 10:30AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00AM at St. Frances Cabrini Parish in Lakewood, WA. Reception immediately following at the Parish Hall. Graveside services will be held at 2:30PM at Mountain View Memorial Park in Lakewood, WA.
