Her love shines on all of us.Miyoko T. Woodard, beloved wife, mother, and friend. Born April 18, 1928, Miyoko began her new journey with the LordÂ's angels Sunday March 9, 2003. Miyoko passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family and those she loved.Miyoko is survived by her husband of 50 years, Rube Woodard, daughters Ann and Brenda Woodard, all of Tacoma, WA. She was the fourth daughter of Suetaro and Sen Terada. Her mother, father, sisters and brothers preceded her in death.Miyoko was born in Kyoto, Japan and lived in the United States most of her life. Miyoko loved to garden, was a wonderful cook, sharing her secret recipes among her daughters, spent time with her cherished friends and traveled with her husband Rube. She was a wonderful lady, adored by her family and brought smiles to all those who knew her.Visitation will be available March 13-14, 2003 from 3:00 PM Â- 9:00 PM. Memorial services to celebrate her life will be held Saturday, March 15th at 1:00 PM at Mt. View Garden Chapel. Reception to follow on site. A special thanks to those who helped care for her during her illness. Mickey, your love and smile will always be in our hearts.
