Mitsue Sawyer's Obituary
Mitsue Sawyer passed away peacefully in her Lakewood home on May 24, 2006 with her loving daughter by her side. She was born in Tokyo, Japan. Her husband, Michael A. Sawyer, preceded her in death on May 16, 1997. She was a loving wife and mother, with an indomitable spirit, and unwavering faith in her Buddhist practice. She was an active member of the Soka Gakkai International. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda, sister Sachiko, brother-in-law Takeshi, niece Noriko, and many wonderful friends. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 10, 2006 at the SGI-USA Tacoma Community Center.I love you Mom, and I will treasure you always in my heart.
