She is leaving behind her three daughters, Faye Harold, Annette Bailey and Moselle Odom; one son-in-law Brian Bailey; four grandchildren, Garrick Harold and wife Erin, Andrea Odom, Christopher Harold and wife Gina, and Durrell Mack; and four great grandchildren, Aaron, Roarke, Isaiah and Jezrae; and a very large extended family.

After marriage Misako move to the United States where she and Chatmon settled in Tacoma. She started her career as a CNA and worked two jobs for many years. She enjoyed a full career at Western State Hospital until she retired in 1990. She was a faithful member of Whitney Memorial Church where she attended service every Sunday, took flower arranging classes, and sold tickets to everyone she met for benefit Sukiyaki dinners. She played the piano by ear and loved to play -Å"Onward Christian Soldiers-.
Misako was a life-time learner who studied English whenever she had a chance to go to school. She would walk on the treadmill at the gym when she was 69 years old, spent hours playing pinochle with friends, cheated at cards with her grandsons, and created beautiful quilts that she stitched by hand. She would travel whenever she could and would drive her red Cadillac anywhere she wanted to go.
Misako was always busy cleaning, working or telling people what to do. She never sat still.
While a resident at Hearthside Manor she spent most of her time trying to nurse the patients and assist the caregivers.
She will be deeply missed and we know she is running things up in Heaven.
