Minna (Marge) Stoner's Obituary
Marge was born February 22, 1918 in Kentucky and died March 2, 2005 in Lakewood, WA. Always living her life to the fullest, she became a Registered Nurse at the age of 24. When WWII broke out, she joined the Navy and was sent to Pearl Harbor. She served in the service for 9 years, until she married the love of her life, John Stoner. She worked as an RN for another 44 years until she retired at the age of 77. She loved her gardens, dogs, children and her family. She dedicated her life in caring for others. She will now, once again, join her husband.Surviving are her daughter, Lynda Jackson (Tom), son Gary Stoner, two grandchildren; Sarah and Maxwell and one brother Reagan Blake (Barbara) of Blanchester, Ohio.We want to extend special thanks to Franciscan Health System Hospice Service for making it possible for MargeÂ's wish to remain at home with her family. Memorials may be made to Franciscan Foundation Hospice, 1149 Market Street, Tacoma, WA or the AlzheimerÂ's Association.Graveside service will be held at 12:30 PM, Wednesday, March 9, 2005 at Mountain View Memorial Park.Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home. 584-0252.
