Milo McMillan's Obituary
Milo McMillan was born July 16, 1934 in Huron, South Dakota to Clarence and Ellen McMillan. He passed away July 23, 2003 in Tacoma, Washington.Up until the age of 34, Milo spent his time as a farmer. He later experimented with many occupations and spent 28 years as a forklift operator. The whole time he was a diehard Democrat!Milo was a master pool player and spent many years as a part of a pool team. He also loved watching baseball, especially the Mariners. He loved to crack jokes and of course his beloved dog, George. Milo was also an active member with the Fife Moose Lodge for many years.He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Ellen McMillan; 1 sister; and 4 brothers.He is survived by his loving wife, Lois McMillan; sons, Kenneth McMillan of Kirkland, WA and Robert McMillan of Tacoma, WA; daughters, Norma Carrico of Indianapolis, IN, Doris Heard of Tacoma, WA, and Ellen McMillan of Tacoma, WA; grandchildren, James Heard, Delicia Heard, Maemae Heard, Michael McMillan, Kenny McMillan, David McMillan, Kathy McMillan, Melissa McMillan, Christopher McMillan, Paul McMillan, and Tyler Carrico; 5 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews, and extended family. Milo loved his wife and family dearly and will be missed by all.Visitation will be Monday, July 28, 2003 from 9 A.M. until 12:30 P.M. at Mt. View Funeral Home. Services will follow at 2 P.M. at the Mt. View Garden Chapel.You will be in our hearts forever. We love you and know that you will always be our guardian angel and will watch over us. You will never be forgotten.Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal.
