Mildred R. Bitzer's Obituary
Born in Russia to Katherine and Jacob Brunz, Mildred came to America in 1912 settling in Ft. Collins, Colorado where the family farmed for many years. In 1932 she married Raymond. During their 61 year marriage, they had two sons, Richard and John. Raymond and John are in Heaven to greet her. Her long life was filled with gardening, crocheting, bowling, and the companionship of her poodle, Fritz. As charter members of the Lakewood Presbyterian Church, Mildred and Raymond were among its most active members. She will be missed by her son, her daughter and best friend, Marian, her sister Eva, four grandsons and nine great-grandchildren. She thanks the University Place Care Center staff for the care received over the past year, and all her friends who took the time to visit her while there.Viewing will be from 12:00 to 9:00 PM on Friday, May 12 at Mountain View Funeral Home. Services will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, May 13, 2006 in the Mountain View Celebration of Life Center.
