Mildred Lucille Clemensen
Loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, left to be with her Savior on Thursday, July 10. Mildred was born on December 1, 1913 in Centralia, WA, to Ina and Marvin Cowin. After high school, Mildred moved to Tacoma where she met and later married Lester Clemensen on May 14, 1933. The two were married for 62 years before Lester passed away in 1995. Mildred was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Tacoma for over 60 years. Mildred is survived by her two sons, Allen and Gerold, granddaughters Jennifer (Alex) and Melinda (Joe), grandsons Timothy, Daniel (Nancy), and Thomas (Melissa), and great-grandchildren Nathan, Jeremy, Kira, Eli, McCormick, Jackson, Belle, Portia, Tyler and Brett. A celebration of Mildred's life will be held 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 19, 2008 at Grace Baptist Church, 2507 North Vassault, in Tacoma.
