Millie was a bright, bright light! She was extraordinarily kind, charming, always welcoming and we shared a laugh every time we were together. She made me feel like another one of her sons. She always asked me, in all sincerity, "So how are you doing?" Regardless of my response she would usually end our conversation with, "Well, it's just one day at a time."
I'm so very grateful to have been added to her extended family for over 30 years. In one of our recent last conversations she told me, "Don't ever let anyone mistreat you because you are a very special person and you deserve the best." Millie made me feel accepted and included.
I cherish having had the pleasure of hearing her perform with her Gig Harbor Choir and will always remember the PLU Scholarship Music performances we attended. What a treat and what a joy to count Millie as my dear friend. I'm so grateful.
My love and ongoing support goes out the the Jensen families. I love you dearly.
