Mildred Cisco's Obituary
Though she has departed, the gentle compassion she shared and the kind gestures she made will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know her. Her legacy of kindness leaves an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of being part of her life.
On April 25th, 2025, Spokane, WA lost a gentle soul. Mildred Alene Cisco,
affectionately known as Allie, was born on August 22nd, 1937, in Birmingham, AL. Allie was the type of person that everyone was drawn to; her generous spirit and empathetic nature touched the hearts of all who knew her.
At 17 years old, she moved to Tacoma, WA with her mother and made it her lifelong home. In 1956, Allie embraced her lifelong role as a homemaker, dedicating herself to creating a loving and supportive home for her family. Her resilience and unwavering kindness were a source of strength and comfort to those around her.
Allie had a zest for life that shone through in her love of games and travel. She especially enjoyed trips to the casino, where bingo was her favorite pastime. These moments brought joy not only to her but also to the friends and family who shared in her adventures.
Her family was the center of her world. Allie was a devoted mother to her children: John Steiner, William Steiner, Glen Steiner, Patrick Steiner, Carla Steiner, Carmen Figley, Anthony Cisco, and Cathy Cisco. She shared a special bond with her siblings: Edward, Bill, and lovingly remembered her late brothers Samuel, and sisters Ruth, Joanne, and Mary. She was also a loving grandmother and great-grandmother to all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren
Allie’s compassionate heart extended beyond her immediate family. Her dear friend, much like a sister, Patricia of 62 years was a constant source of joy and
companionship along with her beloved dog Bullet. Her and Patricia would talk daily to each other even 2-3 times a day. Allie was always there with a listening ear and a comforting word, making everyone feel understood and valued.
Though she has departed, the gentle compassion she shared and the kind gestures she made will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know her. Her legacy of kindness leaves an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of being part of her life.
