Milann C. Reynolds' Obituary
Milann Clyde Reynolds, born as a set of fraternal twins to Clyde and Dawn Reynolds on May 2, 1955 and died doing what he loved on December 21, 2017. He was born and raised in Crescent City, California and left the area when he joined the Navy in 1974. He worked on Historical renovations in the Santa Cruz area after his discharge until he decided to come home to help his Father. He retired from Pelican Bay State Prison and had been enjoying a life of music and travel for the last several years.
Milann had a lifelong passion for Blues and Classic Rock, even a little flirtation with Funk. He was a truly accomplished guitarist and highly thought of. He also worked as a studio musician in the San Jose area. He played in many bands throughout his lifetime and has enjoyed a steady schedule at local venues doing what he loved.
Milann loved diving. Nothing made him happier than warm waters and cold beer. Milann loved to travel the world to immerse himself in the wonder that is the Ocean. He had a group of friends with a similar passion and Mexico was a favorite of theirs.
Milann loved his Family and friends. He even gave up an annual dive trip to hold my hand during the delivery of his first granddaughter. He was there for pumpkin carving, Easter egg dying, band concerts and Christmas dinner. Milann had many friends near and far that will miss him dearly. He had a turbulent relationship with loved ones and was often referred to as emotionally uncommunicative, but with a Heart of Gold.
Milann appreciated fast cars, especially Porsche's. He even traveled as far as Germany to race. Lately he had really enjoyed getting back into motorcycles. He had a group of close friends to ride with every chance he got. He loved his weekend rides in the mountains, with a dare devil attitude and a love of distant vistas.
Milann was a Mason and a Shriner. This is a statement of who he was and what he believed in.
Milann was preceded in death by his Mother and Father and older brother Ted Hunt. He precedes his twin sister M’Liss Lewis and her family; His Brother Terry Hunt and Family. He leaves me, his Daughter Tanya Morse, my husband Robert and our children Nathan, Kira, Ariana and Chance Morse plus his great grandson Quentin Morse of Crescent City. He leaves his Son Jeremy Goosen his wife Vanessa and son Mason of Bonney Lake, WA. He also leaves his Son Page Olson of Pahoa, HI. He leaves his ex-wife Dusanka RoseMarie Reynolds. He also preceded many other family members near and far flung. He died to soon doing something he loved. He will be missed.
Milann will be laid to rest on, Monday, January 15, 2018 at 1:30PM at Mountain View Funeral Home and Memorial Park, Lakewood, Washington. A reception will follow in the Celebration of Life Center building, Oak Room.
