Micheal Charles Travis' Obituary
Michael Charles Travis, 42, passed away on November 2, 2025. Born in Fort Worth, Texas, on November 14, 1982, Michael was the second of three sons to David and Sandra Travis. He grew up in Bellevue, Washington, and graduated from Newport High School before proudly joining the United States Marine Corps at age 18.
During his service, Michael worked as a transport driver and mechanic, serving honorably in Iraq and Afghanistan. After completing his military service, he transitioned into a successful career in private security, ultimately becoming Security Operations Manager at Allied Universal Security.
Michael had a lifelong passion for working on vehicles and found joy in camping along Tinkham Road near Snoqualmie Pass. A firearms enthusiast, he was dedicated to teaching others safe and respectful handling practices. He also enjoyed video gaming and cherished his weekly Saturday gaming sessions with family and friends, which kept him closely connected to those he loved.
Known for his generosity, honesty, reliability, and strong work ethic, Michael touched the lives of many. He is survived by his parents, Sandra and David Travis; brothers, Anthony Travis and David Willoughby; grandmother, Pat Adair; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He joins in eternal rest his grandparents, Lee Adair, Charles Travis, and Ardeliah Travis.
Michael will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
