Michael was a friend of my son Aaron Dumas. Michael was always well mannered and polite when he hung out with my son. He always said "Hi" if I was at Safeway. He was a good boy.

Michael Young was a good friend of mine, i wouldn't say we were "best" friends, however he had an impact on my life. i always looked up to mike, every time we hung out he was always smiles and happy. he was the kind of person who never had a bad day in his life. he was a hard worker, a great friend, and an all around amazing person. i guess the quote stands that "the good die young" Michael was one of the GREAT.
I only knew Michael through the pharmacy, but really liked him. He was a wonderful, friendly, thoughtful young man with a great sense of humor. I am so very sad about his early death. I will miss him and send heartfelt sympathy to his family.

I do not know your family but am so very sorry for your loss. Hearing about such tragedies especially to a young life is so heartbreaking. Please continue to rely on our Heavenly Father and gain comfort from the hope He gives through his word the Bible of a time in the very near future when He promises to do away with all things that cause tears of pain. As a parent I think the most important job is to raise a good human being....not necessarily to become the richest, smartest, most successful human being but a kind, good human being....Michael never got to achieve his full potential..and I don't know his family but have to say to his mom, "you succeeded in your job"....We Safeway pharmacy employee's think of each other our extended family...I know Michael had many co-workers who thought highly of him...God bless all of your family at this terrible time...Michael...I can only imagine you standing at the gates of heaven with your steering wheel in your hands! You will be missed...

I am one of Michael's many friends and am so devastated about this loss. I might've not been super close to him, but the times I hung out with him he just put everyone in a good mood. Always smiling, positive, and making people laugh. The times I remember him the most were the many car cruises we'd all take; either to the waterfront, Dick's in Seattle, or just a random drive on i5. In memory of him, all of his friends have planned a huge cruise today at 7:30pm...even though it will be sad, we know he will be riding with us tonight. My heart goes out to all of his family.

Just wanted to say that Michael was always very nice to me when I was a customer at the Safeway pharmacy, but I remembered he really lit up when I mentioned his beautiful car.
