Michael Lee Sparling's Obituary
Michael Lee Sparling was born on June 28, 1938 to Albert and Beatrice Sparling in Seattle, Washington. He attended Stadium High School in Tacoma and remained as a lifelong resident. He joined the Navy and served in the SeaBees construction battalion, CO #3 and later in the Reserves. After his service, he was employed by Milgard Manufacturing and remained with the company, moving up to the position of plant manager, until his retirement.
Michael belonged to the Dominican Third Order and had a great devotion to the rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary. He loved the true Catholic faith and had the grace to receive the sacraments before passing. Michael is survived by his spouse, Loy M. Sparling and family.
Services will be held at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Washington on Tuesday November 14, 2017 at 1p.m. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Hospice.
