Michael Phillip Houston's Obituary
Michael passed away at the young age of 31 after a valiant effort to survive liver failure. He died during liver transplant surgery early Thursday morning, October 7, 2004, in Seattle.Michael was born on January 13, 1973, in San Mateo, California, where he lived until he was six. He then moved to Washington, growing up, going to school, and working in the Lakewood area for the rest of his life.Michael had a caring heart and was devoted to his friends and family whom he entertained with his boundless wit, dramatic sense of humor, and infectious smile. He did not do things in a quiet way. He was passionate about his beliefs, he loved deeply, and conveyed his feelings very openly. He was an avid collector Â- Especially Star Trek Memorabilia, Sports Memorabilia, and much more.Michael was preceded in death by his younger brother, Aaron.Michael is survived by his precious daughters Aamanda and Sophia, his loving sister Dawna Contreras and her son Evan, his heartbroken parents, father Phillip Houston, mother Angel Shrope and her husband Bruce, his grandmother, Vivian Lundeen, 3 aunts, 2 uncles, and many cousins and friends.Viewing will be at 11 am, followed by the Funeral service at 12 Noon on Saturday, October 16, 2004 in the Garden Chapel at Mt.
