Michael "Papama" Hernandez's Obituary
It is with great sorrow that we report the passing of our beloved grandfather, Michael Hernandez. He was a wonderful giving man with a passion for cooking. He had a long culinary career and spent his later years contributing back to his community by volunteering his time and services to church sponsored food banks and lending a hand to help serve other seniors. Michael was always full of life, laughter, love and compassion. A man of faith and conviction he was always there for his family and friends. He will be greatly missed. Papama as his family lovingly called him, went to be with the lord on February 2nd, 2014. A Memorial will be held Saturday March 15th at 2pm at First Baptist Church of Lakewood.
