Michael Don Wells
Mike, 60, born December 5th, 1948 in Rapid City, SD, passed away Sunday August 9th in Tacoma, WA. Mike and his family came to Tacoma in 1964 where he graduated from Stadium HS in 1968. After serving in the Army he worked for Milwaukee Railroad until starting with the Boeing Co. in 1979. Mike was still employed by Boeing and was looking forward to retirement this year. Mike and Judy celebrated their 37th year of marriage in March. Mike enjoyed being a clown in the Shriners where he was known to everyone as Lu We Gi. He also enjoyed boating and tinkering around in his garage fixing whatever anybody brought to him. Mike would help anyone with anything they needed done. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Mike leaves behind a loving family, including his wife Judy, daughters Cortney (Joel) Young, Michelle (Mike) Roll, grand kids Brock, Saylor, Irish, Kylie and Carson. He is preceded in death by his father Don, mother Marguerite, and brother Randy. Funeral services will be held Saturday August 15th at 2:00 pm at Mt. View Funeral Home with a reception following in the Willow Room. In remembrance of Mike (Lu We Gi) donations may be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital.
