Michael J. Bottger's Obituary
Michael Jeffery Bottger, born on February 19, 1957 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane, Washington to Fred and Mae Bottger. He was residing in Kirkland, WA at the time of his death at age 59 from heart disease and diabetes on June 23, 2016.
Michael graduated from Clover Park High School in 1975. He completed a program at Bates Vocational College for Surveying in 1977-‘79. He graduated from Pierce College in 1988 and took classes in music at Shoreline Comm. College from 2005-’07. He was working toward a job in a recording studio.
Michael loved the Lord, his family, music and cooking. He enjoyed playing his electric guitar and taking guitar classes online. His favorite pastime was watching cooking shows and trying new recipes. He also loved history.
He is predeceased by his grandparents and his sister Lisa Bottger. He is survived by his parents, Fred and Mae Bottger; sister Heide Lankeit; niece Evelyn and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service for Michael will be held 2:00 pm, Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Lake City Community Church, 8810 Lawndale Ave SW, Lakewood, WA.
Memorials may be made to Young Life, LCCC or Tacoma Rescue Mission.
