Michael Barney's Obituary
Michael Barney, 68, of Eatonville, WA, passed away at his home on June 10, 2016. He was born on Hamilton Air Force Base, California, on May 9, 1948. He was retired from the Northwest Sheet Metal Union local 66 and 150, he was also the retired owner of the Blue Moon Pub, in Eatonville, with his wife. He is survived by his wife Candius (Hauge) Barney of 47 years, and by brother Mark Barney of Tacoma; daughters Michelle Barney of Graham, Kimberly (James) Zilka of Eatonville; son Wake Barney of Eatonville; and 7 grandchildren; Ian Mahar, Savannah Barney, Jason and Landon Zilka, Memphis Barney, twins Peyton and Lincoln Barney, and due in August 2016...a new granddaughter, Kimber Barney. He was preceded in death by his father Albert Barney, and mother Virginia Barney Hopper of Tacoma, WA.
A Celebration of Michael’s life will be held on Friday July 1, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Garden Chapel at Mountain View Memorial Park & Funeral Home.
