My mom Marilyn c. Rogers was Bud's cousin and her father Cecil Rogers was his Uncle. I think of you all often and would like to get back in touch if possible. We were so sorry to hear of Bud's passing. We have many fond memories of him over the years. Especially at the old house on the river. He made us laugh and laugh all the old stories and good times. You are certainly in our thoughts, Neva. The first time I met Bud was at your birthday party, and it was in the cellar at Johnny's Dock - I'm thinking maybe in the late 70's or early 80's. I'd heard lots of stories about Bud, but not nearly enough to prepare me for Bud. "So, this is the girl I've heard about - what the **%%@@ are trying to do to this **%^@## and when is the **++##@%. I was pretty intimidated by this man I'd heard so much about from Tony. I wondered how he'd ended up with this sweet and charming little woman? The more I got to know you both the more I understood why you meant so much to my Husband. I really enjoyed visiting with Bud who seemed to know everything there was to know about people, events and just overall everything, and he was never shy about expressing his opinion.
