Mercedes Alexis Knapp-Patterson's Obituary
Mercedes Alexis Knapp-Patterson (Schwartz), also known as Cede or Cedes, was born on April 19, 1994, to Michael and Tovah (Schwartz) Super in Tacoma, WA. She spent most of her childhood and adulthood in Tacoma, WA.
Mercedes’ first child was born during her high school years. Through the support of her family, her church, and most importantly, by the grace of God, she graduated high school on time.
She would marry her husband Mitchell on October 19, 2017. Through their union they added three additional children to their family. Mercedes loved her husband and her children and enjoyed spending time with them. They would go on camping trips, nature hikes, or to the beach to search for shore crabs and sand dollars. Mercedes was known to put a smile on the faces of the people around her. She was kind, funny, and oftentimes silly!
Mercedes returned to the Lord in December of 2019. God had delivered her, set her free and blessed the life of her unborn son. She would share this testimony with everyone around her. Mercedes loved Jesus and attended Mt. Sinai Deliverance Church faithfully.
On December 12, 2024, Mercedes Alexis Knapp-Patterson became absent from her body to be present with the Lord, at the age of 30.
Mercedes was preceded in death by her grandmother, Lorraine Schwartz and her uncle Nestor Schwartz. She is survived by her immediate family: her husband, Mitchell Knapp-Patterson; her sons, Jordan, Mitchell Jr. and Bentley Knapp-Patterson; and her daughter Mia Knapp-Patterson, as well as, her parents, Michael and Tovah Super; her brothers Jonathan Super (Destinee) and Demitiri Super (Naomi); and her sister Rebekah Super. She also leaves behind the Leadership, and sisters and brothers, of Mt. Sinai Deliverance Church, along with many extended family members and friends. She will be missed by us all.
