Sending our love and sincerest condolences to the entire family of Mel Swillie. Along with Letha, Mel and I became a little "family" working for the USDA. I consider Mel as my USDA father and Letha as my USDA mother. They both taught me so much about being an inspector. Mel was ALWAYS there for me when I needed him. We shared many a great times together at work. He was one of the nicest people that I have ever known in my entire life. He gave me good life advice along the way. Willing to help everybody. A good friend, a GOOD Godly man. I had been missing him since he retired from USDA but I will truly, truly miss him now that he has gone on to Glory. My family and I will continue to hold you all in prayer during this time. May God richly bless and keep each and everyone. Please call us at anytime should you need anything. We love you all. In Christ...

We intentionally pause from our normal activity to express our concern for your well-being and purposefully submit ourselves to pray earnestly with you.
When you are the most alone, God is intimately present.
When it is the darkest, God is the only light you need.
When you are the most humble, God is the most gracious
When you can’t, He can!
Prayerfully Submitted,
