Dear Pat and family,
I send my deepest sympathy and condolences to you and your family on the loss of Mel. I don't get the paper, and no one called to let me know he was sick or that he died. Carrie had called Sandy the other day and Sandy told her Mel died and the funeral was today (Sat). I was at a conference all weekend so I couldn't go. I'm sorry I missed it, just want you all to know you are in my prayers. Blessings to you all as you go thru this very difficult time. Please call me when things settle down for you and you feel like talking.

Dear Pat and family,
We will miss Mels laughter and wit. We have gained much by knowing him. Both of you were always there when we needed you the winter we all spent in Yuma Az. He touched us by being a cousin we will never forget. He always remembered my parents and would visit them from time to time in Benton City, Wa. We always thought he resembled our Dad in his looks and actions. We are better for having had Mel in our life. Our condolences to all of you. I saw Mels obit and the name brought back many memories. I didn't know Mel well but remember him whenever he came home for a visit. I lived next door to the the Triesch family and loved them all. So sorry for your loss. Give my regards to Mary, Ray and Richard.
