May Otto's Obituary
Born in Pawtucket, RI, May 1st, 1925. May married Lawrence Otto in 1944 and moved to Tacoma the following year. They moved to Puyallup in 1962 and Eatonville in 2001. May spent most of her working career with Puget Sound Bank. In Eatonville, May served as Deconesse with Eatonville Baptist Church. May was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence, and eldest daughter, Diane. She is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law Kathleen and Don Holtan (Corvallis, OR) and Kristine Zachary (Eatonville, WA) and Darren Zachary (Gig Harbor). May has six grandchildren (Kye Holtan-Brown, Karen Holtan, plus Trevor, Leah, Drew and Jenneka Zachary), and three great grandchildren (Mackenzie, Tavie and Ian Brown) May passed away peacefully at 0225 am on Thursday (2/25/10). A gentle loving mother, she cherished her family, church, friends, and her sewing and quilting. She will be remembered for her kindness, patience and zest for life. A memorial service will be held at Eatonville Baptist Church, 825 Eatonville Hwy, Eatonville, WA 98328, on Sunday, Feb. 28th 2010 at 5pm. Interment will be at Mountain View Memorial Park, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd., Lakewood, WA. The family requests donations be made to the Eatonville Baptist Church in May's name.
