Maxie W. Fields Sr.
On July 13, 2009, Maxie W. Fields Sr., 88, peacefully made his final journey to abide forever with his Lord and Savior. Born February 27, 1921 to Tollie Fields and Cynthia Hull in Learned, Mississippi, he was the second of ten children. He was preceded in death by his youngest daughter, Melissa A. Dawkins. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Joyce M. Fields, his brother Coolidge Fields of Jackson, MS, his children, Phillip L. Fields, Sharon Gilmore (Fields), Maxie W. Fields, Jr., Barbara J. Fields, Patricia D. Fields and Elder Michael W. Fields, sixteen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Viewings will be at Mountain View Funeral Home on Saturday, July 18th from 1:00AM - 9:00PM and Sunday July 19, 9:00A - 9:00PM. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 20, 2009 at 11:00 a.m., Bethlehem Baptist Church, 4818 East Portland Avenue Tacoma, Washington.
