Maurine G. WhitmanBeloved Mother, Grandmother, and friend. Born July 21, 1931, in Glendale, CA. Died Saturday, March 1, 2003, at her daughterÂ's home in Olympia after a long battle with C.O.P.D. Maurine enjoyed reading, visiting with friends and family, watching her favorite show on T.V., Â"As the World Turns,Â" but most of all spending time with her grandchildren.Surviving are her children, Judy (Ralph), Jim, Linda (Dave), Patricia (Roger); 8 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Putnam; mother, Marguerite Grayer; step father, Ernest F. Grayer; sister Florence Juanita Putnam; and grandson, Robert Daniel Quant.A Graveside Service will be held at 1:30 PM, Friday, March 7, 2003, at Mountain View Memorial Park.
