Maureen we have had so much fun and loved our slots....and of course our Prime Rib. I miss you everyday cousin and very close friend!! We lost each other for years so glad we reconnected and then just enjoyed so much!!! And you and Bob helped me so much I will always be so grateful. Good bye is very hard for me so I won't say good bye I will see you when I get there so save me a seat OK!! Love you so much!!
In 1992 my children and I moved to Tacoma Washington to stay with my father Sherman, Maureen came the next day and helped me with food and clothing and show places to go to get help with whatever I needed and she loved to cook and I am forever grateful for her and my brother Brandon for everything they have done for me and my family and she will be greatly missed.
We all miss you mom I hope your running those races in heaven...we all know we will see you again at those gates until then I love and miss you very much
Maureen (Fletcher) Thomas did not have a particularly easy life. Her parents were unfortunately heavy drinkers and she endured a dysfunctional family life because of it. She lost her mother in a terrible way and then lost her brother and sister in law (who she was very close to) in a tragic fire. But she persevered somehow. Had a wonderful son she was very proud of and her life got enormously better when she met Bob Thomas and his family. She loved her cooking and made a good living at it. I will always be grateful for her efforts catering my parents 50th wedding anniversary. She loved the whole racing scene because she and Bob enjoyed it together and with other members of the family. She was a sweetheart for many reasons and will be greatly missed.
