Maureen Ann Mighell's Obituary
Celebrating the Life of Maureen Ann Mighell.
Maureen was born on March 28, 1946 in Tacoma, Washington where she lived until her death. Maureen was the youngest child to mother Eileen Austin and Jim Purvis. After Jim had passed away, Eileen remarried to Jerome Sandstedt and he would later adopt Maureen and her older brother Jim to be children of his own. She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School and The University of Puget Sound is where she received her Bachelor's Degree for Accounting. Maureen worked in the Tacoma area for many years as a CPA.
Maureen will be remembered most for her love of reading, Her natural green thumb in caring for her plants, and when the sun was out and shining you would more than likely find her outside basking in its warmth and glory. She is preceded in death by her mother Eileen Sandstedt, father Jerome Sandstedt, Brother Jim Sandstedt and her husband Tom Mighell.
Maureen is survived by; Her daughters, Ann Lovrovich (Tim), Melissa Miller (Mark), and Julie Meister (Brad). Grandchildren; Linsey, Laney, Duren, Maci, Natasha (Dan), Trevor (Bri). and Great Grandchildren; Ainsley, Emryn, and Ivalin.
