Matthew K. Bodhaine's Obituary
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Matthew K Bodhaine, a beloved husband, brother, father, grandfather, great grandfather & friend who left us on January 29, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on June 7, 1954, to Edward Kirk Bodhaine and Jewel A DeBaun.
He is survived by his loving wife Mary of 44 years. He was a highly gifted man that loved God and His Son Jesus Christ.
Matt was a Hull Technician in the U.S. Navy and served two tours in Viet Nam. He earned three journey man trades by the time he was 21. Matt enjoyed his time as a tree trimmer, trimming trees out of power lines. He traded in his climbing hooks and became a building inspector.
Matt enjoyed reading, gardening, hanging out with family and making his friends laugh. Matthew’s memory will be cherished by countless friends and extended family members. Though we mourn his passing, we are grateful for the moments we shared with Matthew and the lasting impact he made in our lives.
