Mattao Allegro
12/8/1920 - 8/25/2013
Matt was the youngest of four children, born in Tacoma to Sicilian immigrants Salvatore and Vita Allegro and lived in Tacoma all of his life. He was a 1938 graduate of Lincoln High School, a WWII Navy Veteran and worked for many years in the restaurant industry in Tacoma. He was a husband, father and grandfather; a loyal, generous friend. Preceded in death by his parents, brother, sisters and beloved wife, Genevieve, he is survived by his daughters Valerie (John) Norman, Shelly (Ron) Parrott, son Sam (Ann) Allegro and six grandchildren – David, Michael, Angela, Joseph, Adam and Peter.
