Maryann Venturi's Obituary
Maryann (Herman) Venturi, 89, of Tacoma, WA passed away on May 19, 2020. Maryann was born April 17, 1931 in Albany, CA to Mary & William Herman. She graduated from El Cerrito HS in 1949. She lived in Fremont, CA for many years before relocating to Tacoma 3 years ago. She married Elio Venturi of Modesto in 1956. They were married for 32 years. She worked at the Fremont Adult School for over 25 years and also volunteered at the Sisters of the Holy Names convent in Mission San Jose, CA.
Maryann is preceded in death by parents: Mary (Pierini) and William, husband Elio and her eldest child Angela Brown (64) of Tacoma, WA who passed away last month.
Maryann is survived by her adult children: Anthony, Andrew and Maria (Martinek).
Mema had 10 grandchildren: Kaydee, Elizabeth, William, Jason, Amanda, Kellee, Jordan, Adam, Rachael and Riley.
Maryann was proud bisnonna to 12 great-grandchildren: Gabreal, Isaiah, Zoe, Layla, Samantha, Landon, Blake, Logan, Neil, Brendan, Scottlynn and Austin.
Interment of her ashes next will be at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Hayward, CA this summer. Please check back for service updates.
