Mary Virginia Michaud's Obituary
Mary Boyd Michaud
Mary Virginia Michaud passed away peacefully into the arms of our heavenly Father to join her beloved husband Warren on December 14, 2008. She was born Mary Virginia Boyd to Frank and Christine Boyd on December 15, 1916, in Fircrest, Washington. Mary's "career" outside of bookkeeper for the family business, M & W Delivery Service, was an expert homemaker. She took the greatest pleasure in keeping a warm and loving home for her family. She was our "perfect" mother. A member of Life Center Christian Church, her unwavering faith was a guiding light for her daughters. She loved gardening, camping, sewing, playing cards and cooking. She was a most wonderful cook and everyone loved her pies! Mom and Dad were charter members of the Tacoma Dance Club. Mom loved to dance, and is now dancing with dad in heaven. A loving and gentle woman, her foremost passion was her family. Being with her family gave her great joy. Her devotion to her husband Warren was unfailing, and when he passed away, her broken heart never healed. Mom was preceded in death by her husband Warren. She is survived by her daughters Joan (Al) MacDonald, Linda (Larry) Fordice, Sandi (Scott) Riedler, Denise (Terry) Haynes, Terri (Rick) Vickery, 16 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, 16 great-great grandchildren, and her sister Ruth (Matt) O'Hare. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 20, at 1p.m. in the Celebration of Life Center at Mountain View Funeral Home, Lakewood. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Franciscan Hospice. Please leave online condolences at www.mountainviewtacoma.com . Together Again
