Mary Scoggin's Obituary
Mary A Scoggin
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin,
and friend of all.
Mary was born May 20, 1925 in Tacoma and passed away September 12, 2014 in Tacoma. The second child of Ted and Margaret Fullinwinder, she attended Tacoma public schools and was a proud graduate of Stadium High School, class of 1943.
Mary was active in sports during her school years, playing golf until her death. She amazingly had two holes-in-one, the second at age 88 while still playing twice a week. She also enjoyed playing bridge as often as possible and enjoyed traveling-especially with her friends to Hawaii.
Mary is survived by her son Lorne Scoggin II of Tacoma daughter Linda (Gary) Leach of Albion, Idaho; four grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and her sisters Margi Melvin and Louise Landon, both of Tacoma.
A memorial mass will be held 11:00 Thursday, September 18 at St Patrick’s Catholic Church in Tacoma, followed by a reception at the Church hall.
Aloha, dear Friend. Rest in Peace.
