Mary Ella Roberson's Obituary
Mary Ella Roberson lived a life stitched together with kindness, patience, and purpose—each day crafted with the same care and devotion she brought to her quilting needle and her garden trowel. Born in the spring of 1928, Mary had a heart rooted in love and hands that rarely rested. Whether baking a pie from scratch, guiding young hands through their first stitches, or coaxing blooms from the soil, she poured her soul into every act of giving.
A woman of quiet strength and vibrant grace, Mary was known for her warm smile that made strangers feel like kin, and a gentleness that wrapped around others like a favorite hand-knit shawl. She was not just a talented cook or gifted crafter—she was a cornerstone of compassion and steadiness for all who had the good fortune to know her.
Mary’s love grew and bloomed across generations. She leaves behind her beloved son Henry (Ethel), and her cherished daughters, Maria and Anita. Her legacy of love also lives on in her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each of whom she held close in her heart and taught to appreciate the beauty in small, simple things.
Though our hands can no longer hold hers, Mary’s spirit remains in the garden she tended, the meals she shared, and the lives she touched. May we honor her memory by living with half as much love, generosity, and grace.
She will be deeply missed, fondly remembered, and forever loved.
