Mary passed away peacefully with her daughters at home in Puyallup WA.
Mary will be lovingly remembered by her children, Margo (Gerry) Coons, Linda (Larry) Thompson, Grandchildren, Shannon (Eric) Peterson, Scott (Jani) Coons, Kate Day (Josh Babcock), Wayne Coons, Patrick Coons, Brian Thompson, Cally (Brandon) Huston, Great Grandchildren, Alanna, Payton, Ethan, Erica, Isabella, McKenzie, Michael and Madeline. Sisters Pearl Bonwick and Anne Trach.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband Richard Peters, father Peter Martin, mother Elizabeth (McClory) Martin, brothers and sisters William Martin, Rhena Craig, Patrick Martin, Dora Hollington, Peter Martin, Jack Martin and Jerry Martin.
Mary immigrated from Loughbrickland Northern Ireland to Canada at age 6, where she grew up on a farm in Alberta. She served in the Canadian Air Force during WWII. Mary moved to the US in 1959
Mary (Nana) was a very loving part of her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren's lives.
