Mary May Huhta's Obituary
Mary May Huhta passed away August 9, 2005. She was born October 9, 1914. She grew up in a tiny community in Eastern Washington called Badger Mountain near Waterville. Mary was a resident of Tacoma for over fifty years. She came to the coast in the early forties. She lived in Federal Way Washington before moving to Tacoma. Mary loved flowers and gardening. She and her husband Andy Huhta of fifty four years had many beautiful flower gardens surrounding their home in old town Tacoma. Mary is survived by her husband Andrew W. Huhta, her sister Clara Cavanaugh, daughter Cleo M. Stewart, son Don L. Fawver, ten grandchildren, Seventeen great grandchildren and twenty three great-great-grandchildren. Instead of sending flowers please send donations to Mary Bridge ChildrenÂ's Hospital, P.O. Box 5296, Tacoma, WA 98415. There will be viewing from 12:00pm-7:00pm, Friday, Aug. 12, 2005 and from 9:00am-2:30pm, Saturday, Aug. 13, 2005 at the Mountain View Funeral Home, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd. SW, Tacoma, followed by graveside services at 3:30pm.
