I am so sorry I was unable to attend the services as my illness made it impossible. I felt really sad about not being able to attend. We feel blessed that Rita and Steve were able to attend the services. We felt really close to Mary Jo and Leland all these many years. We enjoyed our visits and the many stories Leland and Mary Jo shared with us. My mother was very close to Mary Jo back in Dallas during her early years. My mother was born the same month as Mary Jo. I will always remember those visits with you and your folks when I was at Ft. Lewis. They were always nice enough to pick me up and take me back to post. We will always remember how wonderful you and your folks were when Rita and the kids moved up there and let them stay until we got situated. We will always remember you all and the way you all made us feel at home, those wonderful barbeques, those wonderful visits and stories. Toward the end, in late November, Mary Jo let us treat her to lunch. Our moments were all good with you and your mom and dad. I'm sure they are with God and He is embracing them both. All of you will remain forever close to our hearts. May God bless you all. We love you all. Jimmy & Rita, Jim & Steve.##imported-begin##Jim Yokum II##imported-end##
