Mary D. Johnson's Obituary
Mary Della Johnson, will be dearly missed by her children – Demetrius (Ashlee), Charles (Summer), and daughter Tanika; Grandchildren Alexis, Charles, MacKenzie, Elisha, Charlee, Jay, Issac, and Sosanna.
She was born to Elmyra Proctor Minor & Elisha Minor in Louisville, KY on June 4, 1953. A heart filled with love for others, she devoted her life to caring for others, working more than 20 years as a CNA. One of six siblings she leaves behind 3 surviving siblings Edward, Alma, and Mattie, Father in-law Charles E. Johnson Sr., Mother in-law Gloria Carter as well as many more siblings, nieces, and nephews that she also deeply cared for as her own of the Johnson & Minor family.
She cherished her service to Jehovah God. Despite being a shy person, she had a strong will wherever she was she made sure to share the promises that she had learned. Our mother, Mary felt the only inheritance she could leave he family and the people she touched was the knowledge that she learned about Jehovah. So she dedicated her Life and time to sharing the truths and promises that He offers to all mankind. These promises of truths from his word the bible such as the Hope of Resurrection at John 5:28,29.
With many goals in life, she decided that the ultimate to attain would be in fulfilling her obligation to Jehovah. To love him with her whole heart, soul, and mind. She tried to instill these values in others as well.
