Mary Johnson's Obituary
Mary Alice Johnson was born in Detroit, Michigan and passed away in her sleep at a family residence in Washington state at the age of 97 on Saturday, November 6, 2021. Mary joined her late husband Alphonso, and their son Adrian in eternal peace. She will be forever remembered by those who knew her best, and is survived by two grandsons, Adam and Michael, and five great-grandchildren. Mary moved to Washington to be closer to her grandsons and their families in 2017. Before relocating, Mary was a beloved member of her west side Detroit community, which she called home for most of her life. She spent time as a member of the Plymouth United Church of Christ congregation, and was well known by her neighbors as a fixture in the community.
