Mary G. Mace's Obituary
Mary Mace was born on June 3, 1943 in Beaver Falls, PA to Joseph and Louise Fitzgerald, and passed away on January 24, 2006 in Tacoma, WA.She was married to Senior Master Sergeant Morris Mace for 35 years before he passed away in November 1997.Mary is survived by her sons Michael, Sean, and Ronald Mace; grandchildren Christopher, Ryan, and Amanda; nephews Tom, Mark, and Steven; sister-in-law Sherri (Gary), and their son Jayson; and sister-in-law Donna (Richard), their daughter Theresa Speziale, and grandchildren Damon, Kayla, and Jayson.Mary worked on McChord AFB in several capacities of civil service from 1982 until retiring in 2003. She worked at 446 MSS (Mission Support Squadron) as a personnel technician and customer service representative.Mary liked to travel, with her favorite spots being Las Vegas and Puerto Vallarta. Mary enjoyed sewing in her younger years, and also pinochle and shopping. When she passed, she resided at Gibson House, where she continued to be active and participated in community activities and events. She was loved by many for her positive outlook on life. Mary was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother.Viewing will be from 12 Â- 9 pm on Wednesday, February 1 at Mountain View Funeral Home. Funeral services, with military honors, will be held at 12 pm on Thursday, February 2, 2006 in the Mountain View Valley Chapel.
