Mary Belle Fuhrman's Obituary
Mary Belle Fuhrman, age 78 a long time resident of Tacoma, Washington, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away October 6, 2018. She will be missed but not forgotten.
She was born near Lamoni, Iowa to the late Clarence and Virginia Dunbar on February 2, 1940.
Mary lived in Washington over 50 years and loved it. She loved to keep children, was an immaculate housekeeper, loved to go walking, she loved to have many hobbies, one of which was to make tied blankets for the whole family. She loved to cook and bake. She baked wonderful pies, she grew her own rhubarb, and strawberries in her garden early on. Everyone was sure to be fed who visited her home.
She and her husband Ralph retired in 1993 and traveled the USA in their motor home. They wintered in Casa Grande, AZ and summered at Mineral Lake, WA with their many friends. Mary loved to fish and usually caught the biggest one.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings Judy Kaye, Violet Raye, Donna Jean, and Joseph Dunbar. Grandson Matthew Enyeart and stepson Scott Fuhrman.
She is survived by her sister Rosie (Howard) Peterson of Beaconsfield, IA. Her children Veronica Michael, Michael Dunbar, Ray Hartman, Kathy (Rick) Green, and Clayton Hartman. Her step sons Lance (Elizabeth) Fuhrman, Mark Fuhrman, and Steve (Cherri) Boisvert. Many grand children and great grand children.
Mary attended Conservative Pilgrim Holiness Church in Puyallup with her best friend of many years Delores.
Pastor Dean Hickam will lead family and friends in her memorial service at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, October 24, 2018 in the Garden Chapel at Mountain View Funeral Home & Memorial Park, Lakewood. A reception will be held in the Oak Room following the committal graveside.
