Mary Hartman-Fluty (Vigil)
Passed quietly in her sleep after a short bout with cancer. Mary was predeceased by sons Michael Dean and Jake Vigil (Sonny), parents Frank and Frieda Hartman, husband B.F. Fluty and her children’s father Jake Vigil Jr., brothers Glenn, Don, Paul, Ken, and Harold Hartman.
Born in Vernonia, Oregon and raised in the Spanaway-Kapowsin area. Mom celebrated her 84th birthday with her children, grands and greats at her bedside. She was able to tell us of her love and wishes for us.
Survived by daughters Maxine Wyers (Chuck), Deborah Twilligear, Sandra Sweetin, and Roxanne Bruders, and son Andrew (Andy), Vigil (Macy), nine grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. Brothers Jerry (Gail) Ma., Darold Ca., sister JoAnne Foetz (Ken) Mi., sisters in law Doris (Paul) and Sue (Harold), and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass 1:00 pm Wednesday, March 11 in the Garden Chapel at Mountain View, followed by a reception in the Oak Room at the Mountain View Celebration of Life Center.
